About Me

My photo
Joansz
I label myself a recovering technogeek turned writer. According to my parents, I was born to be an engineer. According to my mom, my fate was sealed when at about three years of age I took it upon myself to "fix" something that was broken. Eighteen years later I got my bachelor of science in electrical engineering. I worked mostly in computer sciences until I was forced to retire when I found my second career--writing. I still love technology, but now it's secondary to my writing. My writing career started when I read a book about Richard III that completely challenged everything I thought I knew about that medieval monarch. That book, ‘The Sunne in Splendour’ by Sharon Kay Penman inspired me to read more. The next book I read was ‘Richard the Third’ by Paul Murray Kendall. From there I started writing and joining online groups and societies that could help me learn about Richard III and how to write. 'This Time' is my first book about Richard III. Visit my website for more information.
